Resentment

We all feel resentment.
And I wonder just how much it affects how we do things.
It’s a difficult thing to curb, even once realised.
We can blame for the poor quality at which we handle things.

I feel less good of a Mom when husband falls asleep in the same room as we are playing. I am not angry that he sleeps. It is being in the same room while he does. I don’t try and be quiet but I can’t help trying to. I take my frustration out on Zeek.

This is just one example of the many ways I experience it.

  1. I actually get a little miffed at my husband when he falls asleep on the couch while we are playing, but then on the flip side I am glad he is there and not in the bedroom. He works hard and is just as involved in raising our daughter, but when I see him sleeping I can’t help but feel a little resentful and jealous. I would like to rest too sometimes. Mommy is tired.

Yes! Thanks for the comment. I suppose I have yet to train myself to nap. I can when I am really tired but mostly it just bothers me that he chooses to do it in our play zone! Lol.
