Living on a Lifeboat

When we open up, we let Life in.
In a boat, with buffalo and goat.
It’s just a matter of ya ya yes. And the,
the more you understand
the open, the more you recognize it.
The more you seek for it, the more wide your world becomes.
And
Life boat becomes
less tippable,
equipped
for all waters
and with goose and giraffe.

Bravery

The way you like it like this,
but can’t say the words.
The way it’ll throw you off course
You Tell me that at Least.
while your back against the plaid
that you gave me
How many years ago now?
Time trickles through the system
and we absorb and believe
that One Day,
we will tell it truly,
How we Like it.
And the Course,
will forever be Changed.

Keep it Up

“Keep it up” is what bosses, coaches, friends and family will say.
Soft, fuzzy and interesting. It’s like they’ve got an invisible standard wall and I’m sitting on it with my red shoelaces dangling and myself just enjoying the great big sun, the clouds and the sky that we all can’t keep up; instead, just live under.

Clarity

Chipped up bananas with sauce the colour of an August sunrise.
Bent from clues across the globe, this place carries itself in it’s own hands.
Careful not to crunch in the dill, that spice is for the yellow rubber ducks. Free from speech because it’s expensive to make one. Or we’re not captured when we speak, only capturing audiences we can’t control.

I won’t buck at stars, but I will drink stars for a few bucks.
I will try not to do E and cough, but I will drink coffee.
Drinks are all the power in your system. Monsters, bulls with wings, even the captain sends morgan to connect with you. As hazy as that gets, they’ll always be the stars to drink, yeah it’ll cost you a few bucks, but the cost of clarity is indispensable.
